Why this exists

I've wanted to build a place like this for a long time.

At first, I thought I wanted a portfolio. I tried building one more than once, but every version felt like it was missing something. It showed the outcome, but never the process, and for me the process has always been the interesting part.

When I learn something new, I don't really think about it as adding another skill. What I enjoy is seeing how it changes the way I understand everything else. I'll start with one topic and somehow end up reading about something completely different, and somehow it still makes sense. One thing leads to another, the dots start connecting, and my view of the bigger picture changes a little.

That's why I never really liked putting myself into one category. I enjoy web development, AI, scripting, design, and a lot of other things, but I don't see them as separate interests fighting for my attention. They're all different ways of exploring the same world.

I also used to think that learning was the goal. I don't think that anymore.

Learning is important, but building is where everything starts making sense. You can spend hours reading documentation or watching someone explain an idea, but the moment you try to build something with it, you realize what you actually understand and what you only thought you understood. Every project teaches me something I wasn't expecting to learn, and I think that's the reason I keep building.

This timeline exists because I wanted a place that could keep all of that.

Not just the projects that worked out, but the questions that led to them. Not just the checkpoints, but the entries in between. The moments where I changed my mind, discovered I was wrong, or finally understood something after being confused for days.

I'm not interested in rewriting those moments later just because I know more now. If I look back a few years from today, I want to see what I actually thought at the time, even if I disagree with it now. That's the whole point.

So if you spend some time here, don't expect everything to be polished or complete. Some ideas will grow into something bigger. Some won't. Some entries will probably make me laugh a few years from now.

I'm okay with that.

This isn't a place for finished answers.

It's simply a place where I can think out loud, leave a record of the journey, and let time tell the rest.
